Role Description
SMC Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ER Senior Registrar for a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ER Senior Registrar will be responsible for managing and providing advanced emergency care to patients, supervising resident medical staff, and actively participating in emergency procedures. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute medical conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation. The role will require prompt decision-making and effective communication to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-pressure clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical knowledge and hands-on experience in emergency medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient care in high-acuity situations.
- Excellent communication, team collaboration, and leadership abilities to guide residents and work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping to ensure accurate and timely reporting of patient care activities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, make critical decisions quickly, and provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
- A medical degree from an accredited institution and relevant postgraduate qualifications in emergency medicine.
- A current and valid medical license in Saudi Arabia or eligibility to obtain one is required.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in a tertiary or teaching hospital, is an advantage.
