Overview:-
We are seeking an Equipment Engineer with mechatronics, automation, or similar engineering background to support and improve automotive stamping equipment. This role works closely with Maintenance and Process Engineering, serving as a link between both areas. The primary mission is to drive equipment optimization, reliability, and continuous improvement through lean strategies and technical expertise.
Requirement:-
- Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 3 years of working experience in automotive industry.
- Strong hands on experience with Siemens PLCs (Step7, TIA Portal).
- Experience with WinCC HMI/SCADA systems.
- Solid background in electronics, electrical systems, and industrial control.
- Knowledge of motors, VFDs, soft starters, and related components.
- Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in automotive stamping processes (presses, transfer systems, feeders, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and control schematics.
- Experience with KUKA robots (operation, programming, or troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, SMED, TPM, etc.).
- Experience leading equipment improvement or optimization projects.
