Equations Developer

We are looking for an experienced Equations Developer with strong expertise in BankFusion Equation Core Banking and IBM i / AS400 technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Equation development, configuration, production support, core banking implementations, upgrades, migrations, and banking integrations. The role requires strong technical expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, Free Format RPG, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400, along with experience supporting production operations, End-of-Day activities, UAT, and third-party banking interfaces.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 13+ years of experience in IBM i / AS400 development and application support
• Strong hands-on experience with BankFusion Equation Core Banking Solution
• Extensive experience in RPGLE, CLLE, Free Format RPG, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400
• Proven experience in Equation module implementation, configuration, development, and production support
• Strong banking domain experience with exposure to core banking applications and banking operations
• Experience supporting Equation upgrades, migrations, integrations, UAT, testing, and implementation activities
• Previous experience working with banks or financial institutions; GCC banking experience will be an advantage
• Candidates currently available in Qatar will be preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in BankFusion Equation Core Banking and IBM i / AS400 / iSeries environments
• Strong programming skills in RPGLE/RPG IV, Free Format RPG, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/DB2-400
• Proficiency in Equation User Exits, APIs, Input Functions, module configuration, charges, and reports
• Experience in production support, End-of-Day operations, application troubleshooting, and defect resolution
• Hands-on experience with banking interfaces and integrations including ATM, SWIFT, MQ Series, and third-party systems
• Experience supporting data reconciliation, migration activities, middleware programs, and Equation version upgrades
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and technical documentation skills
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports and development/support tools such as Jira, Aldon, and VSS
