We are a leading construction company seeking a skilled Environmental Specialist to ensure that our projects meet the highest environmental and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor environmental compliance on construction sites, including air quality, water quality, noise, and waste management.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Prepare environmental reports, compliance documentation, and submit to authorities as required.
- Advise project managers and teams on environmental mitigation strategies and sustainable construction practices.
- Ensure adherence to local environmental regulations, ISO 14001 standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and training for project staff on environmental best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 7 years of experience in environmental management within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of local environmental lawsand international standards (ISO 14001, IFC EHS guidelines).
- Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work across multiple construction sites and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Pay: QAR8,000.00 – QAR9,000.00 per month
