We are looking for a qualified and proactive Environmental Officer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have experience on Ashghal projects and a strong background in environmental management, compliance monitoring, and site supervision.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Ashghal project experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in environmental management and/or site supervision.
- Experience in managing Construction Environmental and Social Management Plans (CESMP).
- Proven experience in environmental reporting, site inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring.
- Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong technical understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and site execution requirements.
- Ability to identify environmental risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Must possess a valid Qatar ID (QID).
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Implement and manage CESMP requirements across project sites.
- Conduct regular environmental inspections, audits, and monitoring activities.
- Prepare environmental reports, records, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Identify environmental risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support environmental awareness initiatives and training programs for site personnel.
- Ensure environmental incidents, observations, and non-conformities are reported and addressed promptly.
