As part of our expanding operations in the Middle East region, we are seeking a Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in our cheese manufacturing facility. The Safety Supervisor will develop and implement safety policies, conduct regular inspections, and provide training to employees to maintain a safe working environment.
Duties / Role / Responsibility:
Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and enforce safety protocols in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Training and Education: Conduct safety training sessions for employees on proper safety procedures and the use of protective equipment.
Monitor Compliance: Perform regular safety inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards.
Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
Safety Meetings and Drills: Coordinate and lead safety meetings, drills, and other safety awareness activities.
Maintain Safety Records: Keep detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
Collaborate with Departments: Work with other departments to ensure a safe working environment throughout the facility.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest health and safety regulations and best practices.
Education & Experience:
Saudi National
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, ASP) is a plus.
