Job Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Specialist to support the implementation and maintenance of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards across project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture and minimizing workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and monitor Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, company standards, and applicable international EHS requirements.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and EHS awareness training for employees and contractors.
- Prepare and maintain EHS reports, inspection records, incident logs, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Identify workplace hazards and implement effective risk mitigation measures.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills and emergency response planning.
- Collaborate with project teams to continuously improve health, safety, and environmental performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant EHS experience in construction, industrial, energy, manufacturing, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi EHS regulations and international safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Certifications "
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
- IOSH Managing Safely
- OSHA 30-Hour (General Industry or Construction)
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Any additional HSE certifications will be considered an advantage.
