Position: ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALIST
The Environment and Sustainability Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the Concourse A project at KKIA meets the highest environmental and sustainability standards. They will be responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international best practices. The manager will work closely with the project team to minimize the project’s environmental impact, promote sustainable practices, and achieve the project’s sustainability goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement environmental management plans for the project.
Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and international best practices.
Monitor and assess the project’s environmental performance.
Identify and mitigate potential environmental risks and impacts.
Promote sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with the project team to achieve the project’s sustainability goals.
Manage waste and pollution control measures.
Oversee environmental monitoring and reporting.
Liaise with environmental agencies and stakeholders.
Skills
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in environmental management, with a proven track record in the construction industry.
Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong understanding of sustainability principles and their application in construction projects.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working on airport projects is preferred.
Professional certification in environmental management (e.g., CEnv) is an advantage.
