Position: Â ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABILITY SPECIALIST
The Environment andSustainabilityManager will play a crucial role in ensuring the Concourse A project at KKIA meets the highest environmental andsustainabilitystandards. They will be responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international best practices. The manager will work closely with the project team to minimize the project’s environmental impact, promotesustainable practices, and achieve the project’ssustainabilitygoals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement environmental management plans for the project.
Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and international best practices.
Monitor and assess the project’s environmental performance.
Identify and mitigate potential environmental risks and impacts.
Promotesustainable practicesthroughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with the project team to achieve the project’ssustainabilitygoals.
Manage waste and pollution control measures.
Oversee environmental monitoring and reporting.
Liaise with environmental agencies and stakeholders.
Skills
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in environmental management, with aproven track recordin the construction industry.
Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong understanding ofsustainabilityprinciples and their application in construction projects.
Excellentcommunication, coordination, andproblem-solving skills.
Experience working on airport projects is preferred.
Professional certification in environmental management (e.g., CEnv) is an advantage.
