Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled English Language Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering the American curriculum standards, fostering students’ literacy, comprehension, and fluency, and using data-driven instruction to maximize student achievement. the candidate should also have the capacity to teach other subjects such as Moral, Social & Cultural Studies.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective English language instruction aligned with American curriculum standards.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Use formative and summative assessments, including MAP, NGRT, CAT4, and internal data, to inform instruction.
Coach students in literacy, comprehension, and fluency, utilizing research-based strategies.
Integrate technology, artificial intelligence and interactive learning techniques to enhance engagement.
Implement the MOE standards in delivering the Moral, Social and Cultural Studies curriculum.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular connections and strengthen students’ learning experiences.
Maintain strong communication with parents to support student progress.
Participate in professional development opportunities and school initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Teaching license/certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English in an American curriculum school.
Strong understanding of MAP, NGRT, CAT4, and internal assessments to guide instruction.
Experience in center-based learning and implementing best practices in English instruction.
Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills.
UAE experience and KHDA approval are an advantage.
