As a Team Leader, you are responsible for supervising all engineering staff and ensuring the effective maintenance of the building.
What will I be doing?
Monitor equipment and special preventative maintenance standards and ensure effective operation for grounds, systems, and equipment.
Staff training, assignments, and supervision to ensure staff development and compliance with standard requirements.
Ensure quality performance in staff assignments.
Ensure compliance with building codes and other sanitary requirements in operation and maintenance.
Prepare SOPs and ensure training for staff.
Monitor stock inventory in coordination with the store head and ensure required minimum stock is available to perform effective and efficient maintenance.
Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and use correct lifting procedures to avoid injury.
Follow hazardous material management program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals using material safety data sheets.
Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to the Shift in charge.
Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
Complete appropriate fire and safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot MEP issues on day-to-day operations.
Ability to handle a team and ensure safe and reliable work execution.
Ability to effectively deal with a variety of audiences, requiring high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
Strong computer literacy including knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in basic mathematics and good analytical skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion while performing various responsibilities.
