Engineering Manager – Roads & Utilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead the design, coordination, and execution of Roads & Utilities infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering projects in line with quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering activities for Roads & Utilities projects from concept through execution
- Oversee design coordination across disciplines including roads, drainage, utilities, and associated infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical submissions
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design and technical issues
- Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control through effective engineering input
- Ensure constructability, value engineering, and optimization of designs
- Manage technical risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
- Liaise with government authorities and utility providers for approvals and coordination
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 12–18 years of experience in engineering roles within infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in Roads & Utilities projects within the UAE or GCC
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- In-depth knowledge of design standards, codes, and authority regulations
- Experience with utilities coordination (water, sewer, stormwater, electrical, telecom, etc.)
- Professional certifications (PMP, PE, or equivalent) are an advantage
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office

Pay: AED26,000.00 – AED30,000.00 per month
