Engineer – Water Installations Jobs in Doha at Inspire Management Training Center
The Engineer – Water Installations is responsible for the planning, supervision, execution, and quality control of water network installation works, including pipelines, service connections, and related infrastructure. The role ensures all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage water installation works including pipelines, valves, service connections, and related infrastructure.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements prior to execution.
- Ensure installation activities comply with approved design standards and water utility regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, site teams, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress of installation works and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality, alignment, and correctness of installations.
- Support pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing, and commissioning of water networks.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to installation works on-site.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and installation documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safety procedures during all site activities.
- Coordinate with utility authorities for approvals, inspections, and handover processes.
- Assist in resolving customer or operational issues related to water supply connections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in water meter infrastructure or utility installation projects.
- Strong understanding of water distribution networks, pipelines, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience in site supervision, testing, and commissioning of water systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of water utility standards and construction practices.
- Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering tools.
- Ability to work in field/site environments under pressure.
