Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Garden Equipment Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of landscaping and garden equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience maintaining outdoor power equipment, and the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and service providers to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair garden and landscaping equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on petrol, diesel, battery-powered, and electric equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and coordinate repairs when required
- Maintain maintenance schedules, equipment logs, and service records
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers regarding repairs, warranties, spare parts, and servicing
- Obtain quotations and assist with procurement of spare parts and replacement equipment
- Prepare maintenance reports and recommend equipment upgrades where necessary
- Monitor equipment performance and implement measures to improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Support inventory management of maintenance tools and spare parts
- Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and operational requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience maintaining garden, landscaping, agricultural, or outdoor power equipment
- Strong knowledge of petrol, diesel, battery-powered, and electric garden equipment
- Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Well-organized with excellent documentation and reporting abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid UAE Driving Licence is an advantage
- Experience maintaining lawn mowers, brush cutters, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, pressure washers, irrigation systems, water pumps, and small engines is highly preferred

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of maintaining high equipment performance while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: AED8,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
