Job Purpose:
This Position exists to plan, control and monitor the execution of electrical related project tasks efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.
Key Accountability Areas:
Perform erection, testing and commissioning of Power / Distribution transformers at site and factory.
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance & testing of power / distribution transformers.
Inspect transformers upon arrival and perform necessary tests.
Check the availability of all the accessories for the transformer.
Check the impact recorders and collect the data from them.
Check the requirements of crane or other equipment for the assembly or disassembly of the transformer at sites / factory.
Perform the routine electrical tests of transformers in factory and at site as per the International standards.
Perform the low voltage electrical tests at the site.
Plan day-to-day site activities for the timely completion of the job.
Perform the erection of transformer accessories, vacuuming, oil filtration as per the laid down quality procedures.
Perform in-process testing of transformers during various stages of repair/manufacturing.
Coordinate with marketing, planning and the customer for the gate passes / work permits etc. for the execution of the jobs.
Ensure best practices are followed for the testing of Power and Distribution transformers.

Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
Provide a periodic report detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.

Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Academic
Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
