About the Role
Our client seeks an Emerging Technologies Senior Manager to lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, focusing on AI, blockchain, IoT, Metaverse, Digital Twins, and advanced analytics. This freelance role is based in Dubai and offers a significant impact opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for emerging technologies aligned with organizational goals.
Update the roadmap based on technological advancements and business needs.
Communicate the roadmap to stakeholders and ensure alignment.
Lead exploration and adoption of emerging technologies to support transformation and innovation.
Conduct research and feasibility studies on emerging technologies.
Develop business cases demonstrating impact, project plans, and timelines.
Oversee pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology-driven improvements.
Manage relationships with vendors, research institutions, and industry partners.
Provide leadership and guidance to technology specialists.
Monitor and report on the performance and impact of initiatives.
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of AI, blockchain, IoT, Metaverse, Digital Twins, and analytics.
Proven success in managing emerging technology projects.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
At least 10 years in IT, with 5+ in leadership focused on emerging technologies.
Proficiency in English.
Other Requirements
Experience with Agile/Scrum preferred.
