Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ELV Technician with strong hands-on experience in CCTV and security systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ELV systems, with a primary focus on CCTV.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and commission CCTV systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of CCTV and ELV systems.
- Install and terminate cables, connectors, cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and related equipment.
- Configure IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and basic network connections.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues at project sites.
- Support installation and maintenance of other ELV systems such as access control, intercom, and video door-entry systems.
- Read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow project safety and quality requirements.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as an ELV Technician, CCTV Technician, or Security Systems Technician.
- Strong hands-on experience in CCTV installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of IP CCTV, NVR, DVR, networking, and surveillance systems.
- Experience with other ELV systems will be an advantage.
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical field is preferred.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
