We are seeking an experienced Frontend Web Developer with at least 2 years of expertise in WordPress development, front-end technologies, design and SEO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, designing and maintaining WordPress websites. You will work independently to quickly resolve issues, implement changes and ensure websites are optimized for performance, SEO and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and customize WordPress websites using custom themes, plugins and templates to meet specific project requirements.
Work with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery to create visually appealing and interactive websites.
Quickly resolve issues across WordPress websites, ensuring minimal disruption and high uptime and make ongoing improvements.
Build and customize WordPress themes from scratch and modify existing themes to suit specific needs.
Develop and integrate custom WordPress plugins to extend website functionality.
Implement and maintain responsive designs across devices using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or custom media queries.
Optimize WordPress websites for SEO, including implementing meta tags, keyword optimization, alt text for images and improving page load times to enhance search engine ranking.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues such as JavaScript errors, CSS conflicts, or plugin compatibility issues.
Regularly perform maintenance on WordPress websites, ensuring updates for WordPress core, themes and plugins are applied to keep sites secure and functioning properly.
Ensure websites are fully responsive, mobile-friendly, and optimized for performance across all browsers and devices.
Implement version control (Git) for code management and collaboration.
Apply UI/UX design principles to create user-centric websites that are visually engaging and align with company branding.
Stay up-to-date with front-end development trends, WordPress updates, SEO practices and new tools to improve websites’ effectiveness.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create interactive, dynamic web pages.
Experience working with JavaScript frameworks/libraries like React, Vue.js, or jQuery is a plus.
Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or custom media queries.
Proficiency in PHP for developing custom functionality in WordPress themes and plugins.
Understanding of SEO best practices, including meta tags, alt text and page speed optimization for search engine visibility.
Strong problem-solving skills to resolve front-end issues and debug code efficiently.
Experience with version control systems like Git for managing code and collaborating with teams.
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including image optimization, lazy loading and caching in WordPress.
Knowledge of WordPress REST API for integrating with third-party applications is a plus.
Strong UI/UX design skills and experience using design tools like Figma, Adobe XD or Photoshop.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Pay: AED8,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
