Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar for Petrol Station Equipment Technician competancy in an Electronic Fuel Dispenser , Submerisble Pump, ATG, Fuel Automation install, configure, and commission and related systems at fuel stations and customer sites. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing diagnostic checks, troubleshooting electronic and electrical faults, carrying out routine preventive maintenance, and completing repair work to ensure accurate and safe fuel dispensing. The role involves replacing components, executing soldering tasks when needed, testing equipment after service, documenting work performed, and following safety and compliance procedures. The technician will also coordinate with supervisors, vendors, and customers to schedule service, report issues, and support continuous equipment uptime.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electronics Technology and Electricity, with the ability to read technical diagrams and use standard test instruments.
- Hands-on Soldering skills for repair and replacement of electronic components on circuit boards and modules.
- Proven Troubleshooting abilities to identify, analyze, and resolve faults in electronic fuel dispensers and associated systems.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of electro-mechanical equipment, including preventive maintenance and corrective interventions.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures for working in fuel station or industrial environments.
- Ability to work on-site, travel between locations as required, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills for service reporting and use of diagnostic software; prior experience with fuel dispensing or similar equipment is an advantage.
