Security Clearance

U.S. citizenship is required. An active U.S. government‑issued Secret clearance is required on day
1.

What You Will Do

  • Calibrate and repair electronic test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment covered under the approved TAA.
  • Train laboratory and site personnel on new equipment as needed.
  • Develop and implement new calibration procedures and methods for newly acquired equipment.
  • Perform precision calibration of state‑of‑the‑art electronic equipment.
  • Design test jigs, fixtures, and special setups for calibration of special‑purpose equipment.
  • Provide on‑the‑job training (OJT) for technicians in electronic theory and calibration procedures.
  • Make site visits for training, evaluation, and technical assistance.
  • Assist the section officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the section officer.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Strong background in digital electronics and RF/microwave.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience calibrating electronic equipment.
  • Deep understanding of measurement, calibration, and instrumentation principles.
  • Meticulous work with strict adherence to procedures and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using computers and related software.
  • Maintained U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with various measuring equipment and their calibration requirements.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics for calculations and data interpretation.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of related experience.
  • Associate’s Degree with 8 years of experience.
  • High school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience.

Salary

USD 86,800 – 165,200, depending on experience and qualifications.
