Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team for ongoing electrical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including Cable Glanding, terminations, Cable tray works, transformers, control wiring, MDBs (Main Distribution Boards), SMDBs (Sub Distribution Boards), and other electrical infrastructure.
This position will involve hands-on work with both high and low-voltage systems, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance with electrical codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Cable Installation & Management:
Install, terminate, and test various types of cables (high/low voltage) for power, control, and communication systems.
Ensure proper cable routing and organize cable trays and conduits.
Verify cable installations meet safety and operational standards.
MDB/SMDB Installation & Wiring:
Assist in the setup and wiring of Main Distribution Boards (MDB) and Sub Distribution Boards (SMDB).
Ensure all electrical panels are properly installed, grounded, and wired according to code and manufacturer specifications.
Electrical Troubleshooting & Repair:
Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems, including transformers, circuits, and distribution boards.
Repair or replace faulty components, wiring, and electrical connections.
Electrical System Testing:
Conduct electrical testing on systems to verify functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Perform insulation resistance, continuity, and voltage testing.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety standards and regulations when working with electrical equipment.
Ensure proper lockout/tagout procedures are followed during installations and repairs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with project and OSHA safety standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
Complete project documentation, including installation reports, inspection logs, and as-built diagrams.
Assist with maintaining accurate electrical schematics and equipment specifications.
Qualifications & Skills:
3+ years of Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on industrial and commercial electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with transformers, cable installations, MDBs, SMDBs, and high/low-voltage systems.
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Valid electrical certification and licenses as required by local regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, and other team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month

Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
