Job Title: General Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled General Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, strong expertise in bookkeeping, and hold a recognized professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA). Candidates must have excellent proficiency in English. Preference will be given to Filip-i-n-o nationals.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and balance sheets.
Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
Ensure full compliance with UAE tax laws and VAT regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
Conduct bank reconciliations and support financial audits.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Perform other accounting-related tasks as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is a must.
3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and UAE tax laws.
Excellent bookkeeping skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software such as ZOHO, Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar.
Fluency in English.
Preference for Filip-i-n-o candidates.
