Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, wiring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works across project sites and company facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, switches, sockets, DB panels, and other electrical equipment.
- Carry out electrical installation works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams.
- Perform cable laying, termination, connection, and testing works.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify faults, hazards, or required repairs.
- Test electrical installations using appropriate testing tools and equipment.
- Ensure proper earthing and safe electrical connections.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other site teams to complete work efficiently.
- Follow company HSE procedures and ensure all electrical works are carried out safely.
- Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Report completed work, technical issues, and material requirements to the supervisor.
- Perform other electrical duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma / Trade Certificate in Electrical or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as an Electrician.
- UAE/GCC construction, fit-out, maintenance, or contracting experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments and hand/power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
