Preference will be given to candidates having experience with Signage/Exhibition/Interior Companies:
JOB PROFILE
An Electrician is responsible for installing, connecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for signboards, LED displays, exhibition booths, interior fit outs etc. The role requires strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, lighting integration, and temporary event power distribution. In-house electrical works to be addressed.
Qualifications
Education
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Technical certification in electrical installation
- Basic knowledge of low-voltage LED systems
Certifications (Preferred)
- Electrical license (as per local authority)
- Safety training certification
- Experience with temporary event power systems
Technical Skills Required
- Installation of LED modules, drivers, SMPS, transformers
- Wiring of illuminated signboards (acrylic, flex, channel letters, lightboxes)
- Knowledge of load calculation for booths and display panels
- Power distribution for exhibition stands
- Cable management and concealed wiring
- Troubleshooting short circuits and voltage drops
- Use of testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter)
- Key Responsibilities Installation
- Install and wire LED signage and illuminated boards
- Connect drivers, power supplies, and controllers
- Install booth lighting and power sockets
Power Management
- Distribute power safely within exhibition booths
- Calculate electrical load requirements
- Coordinate with venue electrical teams
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Inspect LED modules and replace faulty components
- Identify and repair wiring issues
- Ensure stable power supply during events
Safety Compliance
- Follow local electrical and exhibition safety regulations
- Ensure proper grounding and insulation
- Secure wiring to prevent trip hazards
Documentation
- Prepare basic wiring diagrams if required
- Report power load details to project manager
Making and Usage of aluminium profiles in light boxes,
Candidates with relevant experience in the industry is required.
Pay: AED2,500.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
