As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.
Job Description:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Perform regular maintenance and repairs of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform diagnostic tests to identify issues.
Follow safety regulations and electrical codes when performing tasks.
Provide estimates for electrical repairs and installations.
Collaborate with team members to complete large-scale electrical projects.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including wiring diagrams and service reports.
Respond to emergency calls for electrical failures and repairs as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine job requirements.
Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices.
Collaborate with third-party companies, such as engineers and contractors, to complete projects.
Adhere to safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Document work performed, including maintenance logs and repair records.
Preferred
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
Additional certifications in specialized areas such as HVAC.
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language;
Arabic is an asset.
Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management is preferred.
