Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems throughout the plant.
  2. Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair motors, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, control panels, and electrical distribution systems.
  3. Support electrical activities related to plant expansion, modification, and improvement projects.
  4. Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment and report abnormal conditions.
  5. Diagnose electrical faults and perform timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  6. Assist in cable laying, termination, panel wiring, and electrical equipment commissioning.
  7. Maintain electrical drawings, maintenance records, and inspection reports.
  8. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and company policies.
  9. Support shutdown maintenance activities and emergency breakdown repairs.
  10. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of work.
  11. Monitor and maintain lighting systems, power distribution networks, and auxiliary equipment.
  12. Assist in testing protective relays, breakers, and other electrical protection systems.
  13. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
  14. Maintain good housekeeping practices in electrical rooms, workshops, and work areas.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, utilities, or paper mill operations.
  • Experience with motors, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in industrial projects and equipment commissioning is an advantage.
