Job Description – Electrician
Position: Electrician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with electrical installations, including GI cable tray, GI trunking, and GI conduit wiring, while ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layout plans.
- Install and route electrical cables using GI cable trays, GI trunking, and GI conduit systems.
- Perform conduit bending, threading, and installation for surface and concealed wiring.
- Install cable trays, trunking, supports, brackets, and accessories according to approved drawings.
- Pull, terminate, and test power and control cables.
- Install lighting fixtures, switches, socket outlets, distribution boards (DBs), and panel boards.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform corrective maintenance.
- Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, and functionality testing of electrical installations.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete work efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
