Electrician with a Kahramaa certificate is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with Qatar’s regulatory standards. To perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure safety in high/low voltage systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance: Ensuring all electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance comply with Kahramaa’s Code of Practice and Qatar regulations.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Executing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and control systems.
- Installation: Installing electrical cabling, circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and switch gear.
- Safety Operations: Ensuring safety of electrical equipment, performing inspections for site electrical works, and reporting to engineers.
- Documentation: Reviewing electrical drawings, schematics, and reporting technical issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- License: Active Individual License (Electrician) from Kahramaa.
- Education: High school certificate or 4-year technical diploma in electrical trade.
- Experience: Proven experience 6+ years in MEP, residential, or substation electrical work.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, using testing tools, and knowledge of LV/HV systems.
