Position: Â Electrical Technician (Field Maintenance) – Shutdown Project
We are hiring nowElectrical Technician (Field Maintenance)inDoha, Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
Reports to the designated Maintenance Supervisor or their representative for daily assignments.
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring safety and security during operations.
Conducts predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor to prevent equipment failures and improve the reliability and availability of machinery within the assigned plant area.
Adheres strictly to the Permit to Work procedures, electricalsafety protocols, and Environmental Health, Safety, and Security standards, along with occupational health and safety regulations.
Identifies recurring issues and provides recommendations for corrective actions.
Submits accurate maintenance records and completion reports for all tasks in line with company requirements.
Monitors and reports safety hazards, unsafe conditions, and near-miss incidents to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum Higher Secondary SchoolEducationplus 3 year Diploma or ITI or vocational training in electrical trade from recognized institution.
Minimum of 5 years of experience under a Maintenance role in Oil & Gas Industry / petrochemical / process plant.
Computer literate with Microsoft Office software.
Authorized electrical person (AEP) certificates being issued by electrical institutions or previous employer shall be preferred.
Must havehands on experiencein the preventive and corrective maintenance of the following equipment:
Power and Distribution Transformers with a Primary voltage of up to 6.6kV.
Switchgears with a Voltage of up to 6.6kV.
