Key Responsibilities:
Battery Removal & Installation
:
Remove old batteries from UPS & CBS systems (12V 5 Ah to 12V 200 Ah), shift old batteries to storage, and deliver/install new batteries in the racks as per engineering guidelines.
UPS System Maintenance
:
Perform preventive maintenance and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services for various UPS brands (Centiel, Innovasis, Schneider, ABB, Vertiv, Emerson, Socomec, Eaton, Riello, Inform, etc.) ranging from 1 KVA to 200 KVA.
Fault Diagnosis & Troubleshooting
:
Assist engineers and senior technicians in fault finding, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with UPS and CBS systems.
Assistance with Spare Replacements
:
Support engineers and technicians in the replacement of parts and spares for UPS & CBS systems.
Collaboration
:
Work closely with engineers and senior technicians for ongoing maintenance and service tasks.
System Installation
:
Install new batteries as per manufacturer’s guidelines and ensure systems are operational post-installation.
Technical
Skills & Requirements:
Hands-on experiencewith battery installation and maintenance (12V 5 Ah to 12V 200 Ah batteries).
Experience in UPS system maintenance and troubleshooting, with knowledge of major brands like Centiel, Innovasis, Schneider, ABB, and others.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance on UPS & CBS systems (ABB, Eaton, Teknoware).
Strong understanding of electrical systems and fault-finding techniques.
Teamworkand ability to collaborate with engineers and technicians effectively.
Previous experience working with electrical systems and UPS systems is a plus.
