Electrical Supervisor / Foreman (Construction) Jobs in Abu Dhabi at INSPIRE BUILDERS GENERAL CONTRACTING COMPANY
Role Purpose
To supervise the day-to-day electrical installation workforce on site, ensure works are installed to approved drawings and quality standards, and keep the electrical scope moving to programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day supervision Lead the electrical labour gang(s) on site; allocate daily tasks, control attendance and productivity, and meet daily / weekly targets.
- Setting-out & installation Set out conduit, containment, DB and accessory positions from approved drawings; supervise first-fix and second-fix electrical works.
- Drawing compliance Work strictly to approved shop drawings; flag discrepancies and site clashes to the engineer before installation.
- Workmanship & QA Ensure neat, code-compliant installation; prepare areas for inspection and accompany consultant / authority walk-downs.
- Material control Receive, check and control issue of electrical materials; minimise wastage and report shortages in advance.
- Coordination Coordinate with civil, mechanical and plumbing trades to sequence work and avoid rework.
- Testing support Assist the engineer with testing, energisation and snagging close-out.
- Safety Enforce safe working practices, tool-box talks, isolation and permit procedures within the gang.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / trade certificate in Electrical, or equivalent hands-on trade training.
- Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
Required Experience & Skills
- 6–10 years’ site experience as an electrician progressing to supervisor / foreman on construction projects.
- Must have supervised electrical installation on buildings, villas, warehouses, parks or fit-outs through to handover.
- Able to read electrical shop drawings and set out works without constant direction.
- Strong leadership of multi-national labour gangs and ability to hit daily targets.
- Practical knowledge of UAE installation standards and inspection expectations.
Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
