Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Site Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage electrical works on-site for our ongoing construction projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles, as well as experience in site supervision, quality control, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and are completed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision: Oversee all electrical installations on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.
Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the site team, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that installations are conducted according to project requirements.
Quality Control: Conduct inspections and quality checks on electrical work, ensuring high standards and addressing any non-compliance issues immediately.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of electrical tasks.
Material Management: Monitor the usage of electrical materials and ensure that all required resources are available to meet project timelines.
Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the testing, commissioning, and calibration of electrical systems, ensuring operational readiness and proper functionality.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports, maintain accurate records of on-site electrical activities, and document any design modifications or changes.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in electrical site engineering, preferably with large-scale construction projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP) and understanding of electrical codes and standards.
Core Competencies: Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic is an advantage.
