Job Summary
Amer Al Ghurair Real Estate Group is looking for a Professional Electrical & Plumbing Technician to carry out electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance works across the company’s buildings and properties. The ideal candidate should be technically skilled, reliable, and capable of independently diagnosing and resolving electrical and plumbing issues while ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical and plumbing systems within company buildings and properties.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including lighting, switches, sockets, breakers, DBs, wiring, and basic electrical equipment.
- Carry out plumbing repairs, including water leaks, pipes, valves, taps, toilets, drainage systems, water tanks, pumps, and sanitary fixtures.
- Attend to maintenance requests and respond promptly to electrical and plumbing emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential faults, leaks, damages, and maintenance requirements.
- Perform installation, replacement, and repair of electrical and plumbing fixtures and fittings.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting of water pumps and related equipment.
- Support minor civil and general building maintenance works when required.
- Coordinate with building management and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned jobs efficiently.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance work, materials used, and completed jobs.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely stored.
- Follow company safety procedures and UAE health and safety standards.
- Ensure work is completed with minimum disruption to tenants and building operations.
- Report major technical issues that require specialist contractor intervention to the supervisor/management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Technician, Plumbing Technician, Multi Technician, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience in both electrical and plumbing maintenance.
- Previous experience in building, property, residential, commercial, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, DBs, circuit breakers, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, sanitary fixtures, pumps, valves, and leak detection.
- Ability to read basic electrical/plumbing drawings and technical information.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to perform maintenance work as required.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving licence would be an advantage.

Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
