Electrical – Key Accounts Specialist
JOB PURPOSE
The role holder is responsible for providing senior-level technical and operational support to key electrical accounts. The role ensures effective coordination, quality assurance, and ongoing support for bulk electrical customers and strategic projects.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as a primary technical focal point for key electrical accounts and bulk customers.
- Supports the design, review, and implementation of electrical solutions for bulk supply customers.
- Coordinates with clients, internal departments, CONTRACTORs, and Contractors to ensure smooth execution of bulk electrical projects.
- Monitors performance, quality, and efficiency of bulk electrical operations and services.
- Reviews customer requirements, technical submissions, and project deliverables.
- Provides after-sales support, follow-up, and resolution of technical or service-related issues.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to key account service delivery.
- Prepares performance summaries, feedback reports, and recommendations for management.
- Mentors engineers and team members involved in key account management.
- Ensures compliance with COMPANY standards, ISO requirements, and Health & Safety regulations.
- Supports business continuity, risk management, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Performs any other duties assigned by senior management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Qualifications / Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
PMP or PRINCE2 (or equivalent project management certification)
Experience
Minimum 13+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, metering operations, key account management, or utility project management.
Key Skills
- Strong technical, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in managing bulk customers and complex utility projects.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership capabilities.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Written and Spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Office-based role with frequent interaction with customers and internal departments; site visits as required.
