Electrical & Instrumentation Manager – Corporate Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE/Dubai at CG Resourcing Ltd
Required to join an international contractor in Abu Dhabi working on Oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG, refinery, process plant, utilities, tank farm and associated infrastructure works. The role is responsible for overseeing E&I activities through to the completion of the pre-commissioning phase. Following this, the position will interface closely with the Commissioning Manager to ensure a seamless handover and coordination of post–pre-commissioning activities.
The Electrical & Instrumentation Manager (E & I) is the senior site leader responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising and delivering the electrical, instrumentation, telecoms, control systems and related E & I construction work for oil and gas and petrochemical projects.
The role is accountable to the Project Director for safe, compliant and timely execution up to Mechanical Completion, including system handover readiness, punch-item closure, quality documentation and pre-commissioning completion within the E & I scope.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent discipline is preferred.
- Extensive experience of EPC construction experience, including substantial E & I leadership experience on oil and gas, LNG, refinery, petrochemical, process plant, utilities, power or major industrial projects.
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 EPC experience, ideally with approximately 25+ years of industry experience. The successful candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of all electrical works, control systems (including DCS to ICU interfaces), and associated mechanical plant, valves, and process equipment.
- Demonstrated experience leading multicultural site teams, multiple subcontractors and vendor interfaces on large, schedule-driven projects.
