Electrical Inspector ( QC ) Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Donglin Technical Service L.L.C
We are looking An Electrical QC Inspector ensures electrical installations, materials, and equipment comply with project specifications, engineering drawings, and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEC). Key responsibilities include conducting site inspections, witnessing tests (continuity, insulation resistance, loop checks), managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and verifying electrical safety.
- Site Inspection: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of electrical components, cable tray/ladder, conduit, and lighting systems.
- Testing & Commissioning: Witness and verify tests including high-potential (Hi-Pot) tests, insulation resistance (Megger), and loop checks.
- Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports, check material submittals, update as-built drawings, and manage documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to approved Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and quality control plans.
- Non-Conformance: Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordination: Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Typically a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction & infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), hazardous area installations, and testing procedures.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and using testing instruments.
- Certification: Specialized certifications in QA/QC (e.g., API, CSWIP) are often preferred
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per hour
Experience:
- Electrical Qc: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- UAE Driving License (Preferred)
