Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, supervising, and inspecting electrical systems for construction projects. This role ensures that all electrical installations are completed according to project specifications, applicable codes, safety standards, and client requirements while meeting project schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Coordinate electrical work with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams.
- Supervise electrical installation activities at construction sites.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure quality workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Prepare material take-offs and verify quantities for procurement.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Attend project coordination and progress meetings.
- Ensure work is completed within the approved schedule and budget.
- Support project handover by preparing as-built drawings and operation and maintenance documentation.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer registration or relevant certification is an advantage.
- 2-3 years of experience in electrical construction projects.
- Experience with commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
- Knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and construction practices.

Working Conditions
- Split between construction sites and office environments.
- Regular site inspections and coordination meetings.
- May require overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
- Must follow all site safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: AED2,500.00 – AED3,000.00 per month
