Role Description The Electrical Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Umm Al Quwain. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and optimize electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities include preparing drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, supporting power distribution and power systems design, and coordinating with civil, architectural, and MEP teams. The role also involves site inspections, resolving technical issues, supporting installation and testing activities, and contributing to project scheduling and cost control. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Electrical Design for building and infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Power Distribution and Power Systems for MEP and construction environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in construction or MEP projects, preferably within the Gulf region.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with electrical design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and tools like AutoCAD or Revit.
· Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
