Job Description – Elevator & Escalator Electrical Technician
Location: United Arab Emirates
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Elevator & Escalator Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of elevators and escalators while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair the electrical systems of elevators and escalators.
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform effective troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to company procedures.
- Test and commission newly installed equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls when required.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in elevator and escalator installation or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator electrical systems and control panels.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills.
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
