Electrician
Duties & Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems.
Connect circuit breakers, transformers, switches, and outlets.
Assemble and install conduits, junction boxes, and control panels.
Diagnose and fix electrical issues, such as short circuits, faulty wiring, and overloaded circuits.
Replace or repair damaged electrical components, outlets, switches, and motors.
Test electrical systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
Inspect electrical components and systems to prevent breakdowns.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, generators, and emergency power systems.
Ensure grounding and surge protection for electrical installations.
Identify and mitigate electrical hazards to prevent accidents, fires, and electrocution.
Install and repair electrical panels, switchgear, and distribution boards.
Work with low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
Plan and execute electrical layouts for buildings, factories, and infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and construction workers.
Communicate with clients and facility managers regarding electrical upgrades and repairs.
Requirements:
2–5 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or repair.
Experience working in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical systems.
