Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Develop electrical layouts for lighting, power, LV systems, and ELV systems.
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), panel layouts, cable routing, and cable tray layouts.
- Coordinate with MEP engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Revise drawings based on engineering comments and site requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority standards, and international codes.
- Prepare BOQ support drawings and documentation as required.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
- Gulf/UAE experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Experience in preparing MEP electrical drawings.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, standards, and construction practices.
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
