Electrical Draftsman Jobs in Mussafah at Safari General Contracting
SLD & Load Schedule Drafting: Prepare detailed Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs) for street lighting feeder pillars and sub-stations, as well as load schedules with balanced phase distributions (R-Y-B), breaker ratings, and voltage drop limits.
Cable Routing & Network Layouts: Draft low-voltage (0.4text{ kV}) and medium-voltage (11text{–}22text{ kV}) trenching, cable tray, and underground duct routing plans, including loop-in/loop-out configurations for street lighting poles.
Feeder Pillar & Pole Detailing: Create structural and electrical layouts for Feeder Pillars (FPs), photocell control circuits, astronomical time switches, grounding pits, and pole cut-out fuse boxes.
Authority Approvals: Coordinate with electrical engineers to prepare submittal drawing packages for authority NOCs and approvals via TAQA / ADDC and DMT online portals (MePS / Smart Hub).
Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Work closely with civil, road, and utility drafting teams to perform clash detection against storm water, water supply, gas, and telecom lines.
Material Takeoffs: Generate accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Material Takeoffs (MTO) for cables, poles, luminaires, and accessories directly from AutoCAD layouts.
