Job Description: Cardiac Surgery – Thoracic Surgeon (Sharjah Location)
Position Title: Cardiac Surgery – Thoracic Surgeon
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thoracic Surgeon specializing in Cardiac Surgery to join our medical team at our Sharjah location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing advanced cardiac and thoracic surgeries, providing exceptional care to patients, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repairs, heart transplants, and other thoracic interventions.
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including management of complications.
Work closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Ensure the maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
Stay current with advancements in cardiac surgery and thoracic procedures, incorporating new techniques and technologies into practice.
Participate in patient and family education regarding treatment options, risks, and recovery processes.
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Specialist qualifications in Cardiac Surgery or Thoracic Surgery.
Board certification or equivalent in Cardiac or Thoracic Surgery.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cardiac Surgery, with expertise in thoracic procedures.
Strong surgical and clinical skills, with experience in both elective and emergency surgeries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED45,000.00 – AED50,000.00 per month
