Electrical BIM Engineer
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical BIM modelling, MEP coordination, and engineering consultancy projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong experience in developing electrical BIM models up to LOD 400, including detailed construction models and shop drawings.
- Proven experience in the preparation and review of electrical shop drawings, coordinated construction drawings, schedules, single-line diagrams, and IFC documentation.
- Ability to develop BIM models and detailed drawings for lighting, power, emergency lighting, fire alarm, ELV/low-current systems, lightning protection, earthing, and other electrical systems.
- Strong experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination, clash detection, and coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Good knowledge of electrical design principles, international codes and standards, and UAE authority requirements.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority requirements (DMT, Civil Defense, TAQA, and other relevant authorities) will be an advantage.
- Ability to review and validate BIM models to ensure compliance with project specifications, design standards, and BIM execution plans.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in engineering consultancy projects is mandatory.
