Rawafid is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electric & Instrumentation Draftsman & Modeler to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive electrical and instrumentation drawings and models to support our construction projects. Your work will involve collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications, ensuring that all drafting work meets industry standards and project requirements.
You will utilize advanced drafting software and modeling tools to produce detailed wiring diagrams, layout plans, and instrument data sheets, leveraging your technical expertise to enhance project delivery. Responsibilities
Create electrical and instrumentation drafting and modeling from conceptual designs to detailed construction documents.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project scope and specifications, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
Prepare and review electrical diagrams, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all drafting and modeling activities.
Review and incorporate feedback from project stakeholders to revise drawings as necessary.
Participate in design reviews and meetings to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Maintain organized documentation and file management of all drawings and revisions.
Requirements
Associate Diploma Degree in electrical drafting, instrumentation drafting, or electrical engineering technology.
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in AutoCAD.
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in Revit.
Certified Automation Professional.
Min. 5 years of experience as a draftsman or modeler in the electrical and instrumentation field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Inventor, EPLAN, and Excel.
Familiar with ISO, ASTM, ASME, ASHRAE.
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation standards, codes, and practices.
Ability to interpret and create complex technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
