Job Title: Electric Cart / Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electric Cart / Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain electric golf carts and other electric vehicles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with electric motors, batteries, controllers, charging systems, and vehicle diagnostics to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electric carts and electric vehicles.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace batteries, battery management systems (BMS), chargers, controllers, motors, wiring harnesses, and related components.
- Inspect braking, steering, suspension, lighting, and safety systems.
- Conduct battery health testing and recommend replacement when necessary.
- Perform software updates, calibration, and troubleshooting of vehicle control systems when required.
- Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate service reports, repair records, and maintenance logs.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and company safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement team regarding spare parts requirements.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to customers when needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in repairing and maintaining electric vehicles, electric golf carts, forklifts, or similar battery-powered equipment.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Lithium-ion and lead-acid battery systems
- Electric motors and motor controllers
- Battery Management Systems (BMS)
- EV charging systems
- Electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and diagnostic tools.
- Basic computer skills for recording maintenance reports.
- Valid driver’s license is an advantage.

- Willingness to travel for on-site service if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electric golf carts, utility vehicles, or low-speed electric vehicles.
- Knowledge of CAN Bus systems and vehicle diagnostic software.
- Experience with Chinese electric vehicle brands is an advantage.
- Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage).
