Ensure to provide a safe and healthy environment for employees, customers, visitors and the society, and serve as Emergency Response Coordinator as required.
Accountabilities:
Coordinating, implementing, and maintaining the company’s environmental health and safety management system.
Conduct formal facility inspections on a regular basis and report findings to operations management and EHS Manager.
Coordinate/conduct environmental health and safety related monitoring and audits in business areas within his scope.
Conduct and/or coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis and evaluate adequacy of proposed corrective and preventive actions from operations.
Assist with the EHS management of division contractor.
Present the company EHS management system during inspection of facilities by governmental agencies.
Support operations’ efforts related to EHS compliance and emergency preparedness and lead annual emergency evacuation drills.
Assist in special EHS projects on an as need basis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude:
Educational Qualifications and Certifications: University degree or equivalent qualification in Industrial Safety, Engineering discipline or Business Administration.
Knowledge: Important aspect of safety and compliance.
Technical Skills: Good IT skills, particularly in maintaining electronic databases and use of Microsoft Office applications, investigations, Incident, and near miss reports.
Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in similar field.
