Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Eastern Region (Eastern United States and E. Canada) Outside Sales Representative to join our the DMIC team. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing new customers (Distribution – OEM), managing and growing relationships with existing clients, and contributing to marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter who is capable of 50% travel, thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, processes strong sales and communication skills while building customer relationships.

This is a full-time hybrid role as an Outside Sales Representative at DMIC. The role involves GROWING SALES PER GOALS / OBJECTIVES building and maintaining relationships with customers, presenting sales proposals, providing excellent customer service, and actively seeking new business opportunities. Sales presentations, relationship building, customer service, and new business development are key responsibilities for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

o           Meet DMIC business goals / objectives for customer growth set by the business.

o           Create and manage Distribution – OEM business plans to achieve goals / objectives through all facets

of their organization.

o           Provide field sales support.

o           Identify, target, and develop new customers through various methods, including networking,

outreach, and lead generation.

o           Work with existing customers to uncover potential new income streams, products / solutions for incremental growth and assess opportunities where DMIC can replace or displace competitors'

products in the market.

Sales Planning & Travel:

o           Travel predominantly within the domestic U.S. (with occasional Canadian travel) to visit customers. 50% travel necessary to manage the region.

o           Prepare detailed agendas for customer visits and make all necessary travel arrangements while

ensuring trips remain within budget.

Marketing Contribution:

o           Collaborate with our team to help drive campaigns and initiatives that support sales efforts in

            the region.

Administrative & Reporting:

o           Maintain and update accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline progress.

o           Provide regular reports on sales performance, expenses and market trends.

Communication:

o           Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for all aspects of the job.

Organizational Skills:

o           Highly organized with the ability to remotely manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously.

o           Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

o           Strong knowledge of ERP Systems, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office products.

o           Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while on the road.

Education & Experience:

o           A 2-year degree from an accredited college is required.

o           Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in hydraulics, manufacturing,

or fluid power industries.

o           Fluid Power certification preferred.
