Your role as an E-commerce Integration Engineer & Pre-Sales Support involves providing technical, functional, and product integration assistance to merchant partners. You ensure their checkout pages, mobile apps, IVR systems, and CRM platforms are seamlessly integrated with RAKBANK’s payment gateways and other web/mobile-based acquiring solutions, minimizing errors and ensuring smooth operation. Additionally, you offer post-installation support and services to merchants while also providing pre-sales guidance on digital payment solutions.

What you will do

Assist merchants in seamlessly connecting their checkout pages, apps, IVR, and CRM systems with RAKBANK’s payment gateways.

Accompany product and sales teams in client meetings, providing demos, presentations, and whiteboard sessions.

Conduct training sessions for colleagues and clients on RAKBANK’s payment gateway products.

Help the sales team assess feasibility, cost, and timelines for customer proposals, ensuring accuracy.

Collect and document business and technical needs to support reliable project estimates.

Build small internal applications for proof-of-concept testing, troubleshooting, and product evaluation.

Work with payment gateway providers to resolve technical issues requiring their expertise.

Monitor and implement compliance mandates related to payment gateway operations.

Facilitate smooth onboarding for merchants using digital payment solutions like Skiply and RAKBANK Simplify.

Provide post-installation services and troubleshooting to ensure merchants’ seamless operations.

Assist the Service Delivery Manager with business-as-usual (BAU) activities in the unit.

Keep a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach in all interactions to boost adoption and satisfaction.

What you should have

Bachelor’s degree in computer applications, Science, Engineering, or IT, with at least two years in a similar technical role.

Strong presentation skills and experience supporting sales and product teams to win new business.

Background in e-commerce payments, with specific experience in the Middle East market.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and familiarity with scripting languages like JSP, PHP, CGI, XML, and .NET.

Capable of handling customer interactions autonomously and troubleshooting payment gateway solutions.

In-depth understanding of payment platforms like MiGS, MPGS, Cyber Source, Simplify, EPG, and compliance mandates.
