Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and physically capable Furniture Delivery Driver to join our
logistics team. The driver will be responsible for delivering furniture to customers’
locations in a safe and timely manner, as well as assisting the delivery team in handling,
positioning, and assembling furniture on-site as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• – Safely operate company vehicles to deliver furniture to residential and commercial
customers.
• – Load and unload furniture with care, ensuring minimal damage during transit and
handling.
• – Support team members (e.g., carpenter, helper) in lifting, moving, and installing
furniture according to customer specifications.
• – Assemble furniture on-site using basic tools, following product instructions or
company guidelines.
• – Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing excellent service.
• – Inspect delivery vehicle before and after trips; report maintenance or safety issues
immediately.
• – Follow the assigned delivery schedule, route plans, and adhere to all traffic and safety
laws.
• – Ensure delivery documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• – Maintain a clean and professional appearance of both vehicle and personal
presentation.
Qualifications
• – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• – Minimum 2 years of experience in furniture delivery or a related field.
• – Basic knowledge of furniture assembly and use of hand tools.
• – Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 kg) and work in varied environments.
• – Strong team spirit and ability to coordinate well with other team members.
• – Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• – Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
